Bloggers do You consider Removing Post Titles?

a few weeks ago i was showing some of my blog type sites to my room mate and he found title and the link on the middle side of post might get confusing.

so, i thought removing the post title could be a good idea for Adult sites, with that way it will be easier to navigate for surfers

at the same time, don't You think it is possible to handle the mess with a htaccess redirection trick?

i mean user can come from the post url instead of homepage via Search Engine results, so preventing from mess, You can set a htaccess redirect regarding to this, don't You think it it will solve the matter?

Right, but You can link those titles to an other side of theme right? what my aim was only not showing them on post or either just turn them in to headings/texts,

my point was saving surfers from confusing and letting them reach the content as easy as possible, if You peeps doing anything different, i m open to that also.

For Example: there is a link to a gallery posted,

what i say is, can't we just show the link instead of title?

or rather then removing title, can we make disappear the post content from homepage then it will directly go to this gallery when user clicked?

sorry if what i said was confusing, i only think is how can we do our blogs easier to surfers

I think the best way to get an answer is to post an example cause I dont think people here understand what you are trying to do or...

Why dont you just link to the gallery using the picture or add links above/below the text content plus add inline links in your actual text and keep all your post titles

No i didn't say i wanna do it, i m simply asking if anybody got any idea if we can make our blogs easier to the surfers, thats it, because my friend gave me that idea and i wondered if others also got the same

OK, let's put it this way: you NEED the titles. You can hide'em if you want, you can use'em in a different way if you want. I do it a lot. BUT you still NEED them.

This being said, 2 things:

a) assuming that you've a more or less regular blog, is there a chance that the problem is not your blog, but your friend? I mean, I never saw anyone getting confused about the title of a post, even before blogs existed everybody can tell what a title is and what is it for.

b) your point shouldn't be to make your visitor's life easy, your goal shouldn't be to give the free meal. Your goal should be to SELL.

c) as someone else mentioned above, you may become the #1 coolest person member for your visitors making their life easier. However, you won't have any visitors to show how cool you are
