the most recent i7 is from 2023. the oldest are from 2008.
Your CPU is supported if it is:
Intel 8th gen or newer (Core i3/i5/i7/i9-8xxx, 9xxx, 10xxx, 11xxx…)
AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer (2600, 3600, 5600, 7600, etc.)
Your CPU is not supported if it is:
Intel 7th gen or older
AMD Ryzen 1000 series (1200, 1600, 1700, etc.)
Either way , don't ever buy intel anymore. AMD has destroyed them in CPU's. only get Ryzen
