Uber drivers are prevented from working with certain crimes, including convictions for murder, sexual assault, and terrorism. Other disqualifying offenses include violent felonies within the last seven years. Drivers may also be disqualified for being on the National Sex Offender Registry or for a history of multiple driving violations.
Disqualifying criminal convictions: Severe and violent crimes: Murder, kidnapping, and terrorism-related offenses are disqualifying regardless of when they occurred.
Sexual offenses: Any conviction for a sexual offense will result in disqualification.
Violent misdemeanors or felonies: You cannot have a conviction for a violent crime or felony within the last seven years.
