List A Few Ideas How Smaller Website Guys Can Ban Together To Help Each Other

Rather than bitch about the state of the industry, and how the big guys are taking all traffic via large illegal tubes, perhaps some of us can work together for some common benefit.

Any ideas? Maybe 10 or 20 small guys agree to a tube with 30 second clips, run by one trusted tech, to get eyes on the collective site pool?

Maybe we can set up small regional think tanks, depending upon where you are located?

I am located in northern NJ, just 25 minutes outside of NYC. I would be open to hosting a small group here once every week or two, for drinks and productive collaborations for example.

Anyone interested?

Any other ideas?

I am certain 5 or 10 one or two person operations working together somehow, would be much more productive and beneficial for everyone involved, rather than to continue as islands onto ourselves.

Yeah, exactly. Starting shared blogs, sharing promotional tubes, sharing images and/or services, etc.

United we stand as they say. A bunch of little guys can only do so much, but a think tank of guys who can help each other could be mutually beneficial.

I can do pretty good photo retouching, but I'm not great at automating promo galleries. I can start a few blogs for example, but I'm having a tough time getting my affiliate program together, etc.

My initial hope is to unite a group of maybe 6 to 12 worthwhile partners.

A vetting process should be involved, in order to weed out the following, so this core group is as honest as possible, right off the bat...

? No one offering blind cross-sales
? No one with a history of lying to, or ripping off, others in this business.

It may take a few weeks to sort out the participants, but I truly believe this is a do-able plan!
