my US family has a trust. my wife and i started one a few years ago in Thailand that has some assets already. we included the inlaws because they are all morons with money.
a trust is the only way to grow generational wealth. otherwise the kids lose it or the govt takes it.

go to a real lawyer who understands all the problems you could face and the laws that go around it. Never would I trust anything for the future of my wife and kids to go wrong.
NOTE I would even start now to buy - plan and secure your plot and funeral arrangements so you dont leave that difficult time and decisions to those around you who will be emotionally a wreck.
so for me - wills - estate and funeral planning including plot and headstone have been bought paid for and instructions so it is easier on my wife and familyComment
