You simply recognize that it is a brilliant strategy and go cry in your beer. There is no rule against it. He is basically taking a season in the shitter to build a better future. Something I am sure the NFL teams could do easily.
Just as the contenders want to win NOW. They pay a premium for that. Draft picks. So you want it this year, and he'll take it next. If the greed for this year did not exist, he would not get anyone willing to trade away everything for it.

You damn the tube site owners, Stile, etc for stealing your content, but then turn around and call a company who has been called out countless times for lying to their members, using stolen pictures for profiles, and even using shady tactics like Zango to advertise, good guys, because they are under new management? Come on...
Like I said, iBill is under new management, and they have stolen millions from the members of your industry, but because it hasn't affected you directly, it's none of your concern?Comment

Zango and all that was the old owners. I've sat down and talked with their CEO, he doesn't even know what Zango is. Sure, they do advertise heavily on the tubes, but I would too if I were them. They would be as big without it.
Maybe I am just biased because I made enough cash from them to not work for a year or two if I wanted. They were the highest bidder after all.
They stole millions from people that chose to do business with them. Like any business arrangement, there is the "trust element" and they blew that out of the water I must say. I feel badly for anyone that got burned. I doubt the new iBill will make any headway.Comment

I dabbled in mainstream a few years back. It will have you running back to the adult industry with you singing the praises of how good it is. Mainstream was fucking insane with fraud, and people black balling each other, ripping off anything and everything not nailed down, threats and people claiming to sue one another, nuking people's PP accounts, and anything in adult you can amplify by 20-100%.

In mainstream, you can close out deals in no time and people actually have some money to their name. So you can get business closed in the same day/week/month.
In adult, especially on the forums, 50% can't afford anything over $100.00. 75% can't afford anything over $500.00. 90% can't afford anything over $1000.00.
There are only around 7-10% of this industry who make any real money, and can swing deals. Whether for websites, content, domains, whatever. So 90% of this industry is really chasing 25% who have money, and the higher dollar deals chasing down 10%.
Out of that 10%..... maybe 3-5% could be buying. So there are not many buyers across the board. That comes not only from my OWN experience. But if you talk to a couple of dozen coders, designers, content producers.... they can verify that for you.

the funny thing is that some people actually say that the adult business is in it's best moment and that they are doing more sales than ever before... of that it can be possible to make a lot of money with gals, when it's know that it's an obsolete marketing strategy now, and that 95% of tgps traffic has shrinked like never before...

If you want to point to a single thing that lead to the demise of this business, I'd point to Cogent.
Once they got into the bandwidth market prices started dropping like a rock and never came back.
The people who gave away free porn in the past didn't give away less because they had business sense or any shit like that, they only gave away what they could afford to because bandwidth costs were so high. Free hosts had file size limits, etc.
The amount of free porn available was constrained by the cost of bandwidth.
At <$4/mbps you can give away full free DVD's and make a small profit. At $40/mbps you can only give away about 15 pictures and still make a profit, forget about movies.

More immorality: selling customers' email to spammers!
I signed up for a couple of sites myself, to test them out.
Result: I got spam which can only be from these sites. I never used this combination of name and email for anything else.
Now spamming the customers, this is pretty bad!
I thinkt the payment processors maybe did not do it, in at least one occasion I needed to contact customer service, maybe someone picked up the email there.
One of them, I pursued them relentlessly writing to all their sponsors, until they got kicked out and the spam ceased.
Interestingly, nobody spams their affiliate webmasters. Probably they know that it would have consequences.
Nowadays, I found a setup for my email server (qmail?) to create an infinity of email addresses, I just use these email addresses now. You are part of the problem for a couple reasons. For be apathetic and not doing anything sooner to help stop things from getting to where they are now. For doing business with the "bad" companies and helping them to prosper. For not giving a shit about anything that was happening until it happened to you, when easy logic shows if it was happening to others it would happen to you sooner or later.

If they don't, they are leaving that opportunity on the table for someone else to grab.
Eventually, the DMCA will be amended somehow, but even when that happens and they "lose," they will STILL win, because they've already created huge brands.
