I installed Exodus wallet to receive some usdt. Now when I want to send usdt to someone, I need 27 trx fee for Tron Network. So I have to pay 10 EUR to send someone 10 usdt? Wtf?

Look at wallets where you can choose the speed of transaction. the commission depends on it. they have fast transfer by default, i.e. maximum commission. the same is true for TrustWallet. -
Why don't you use Metamask and choose low-cost fee chains like Base, Arbitrum etc?
Or if u want to receive on Solana, have the Phantom Wallet.Comment

this is why USDT is shitty
For all small amounts, use Litecoin or XRP, it cost like $0.01 per transfer (whatever the amount) and you do not need any tron or eth.

It's just because to send USDT, you need eth or tron to pay for gas fees.
Any wallet will ask you for those fees, it's not like Exodus is more expensive than others.
Exodus is a super cool wallet, the best IMO
Just use LTC or XRP and you will not have any more problemComment

and if you are a newbie and just want to receive some crypto from time to time, then just use Kucoin or Binance as your wallet, you will not need to actually own eth or tron to send your usdt, they will deduct it directly from your usdt amount. It will make things simpler for you since it looks like you don't really care
