I do participate in her life, we play games together and interact in a video game called PixArk, and we've built huge castles and explored the game together. You should see the play area we built in a digital realm, it's massive! Sure, it isn't in-person, but it means a lot to both of us. We've been playing the same game for 3+ years now, since she was barely old enough to use a controller with any sort of proficiency.
Coming from someone who kicked out their own brother around Christmas after talking shit about him, I'll take her advice with a few grains of salt. (along with tequila and lime!)
