                    I just want is a fair trade. We deliver our work on schedule doing our part of the deal. But we want to be paid on the same schedule, ok with 3-5 day delays is fine. Ok, once a month, but on a certain date. If you set a pay date then you should follow it. Otherwise what are we working for? Hope to be paid sometime maybe in the future but not sure when?

                            When affiliate checks go out 1 hour late the peanut gallery here goes bananas.

                            Who is going to see this thread and not hire this guy? Probably someone who would pay late or not pay.....I doubt he wants work from those people anyways.

                            Just because it's a buyers market for design services doesn't mean designers have to grab their ankles and pray that you pay them one day. The "buyers market" is already reflected in the price you're paying....that doesn't mean you also get to wait to pay the invoice at your leisure.

                                All of that being said, I hear that all of the big companies dick vendors around when it comes to getting paid for shit.
                                Designers, shooters, hosts, etc all have to stand in line and beg......so maybe he's costing himself some business from the big companies by doing this....but he obviously doesn't have the patience to deal with those guys anyways...so this thread isn't really going to hurt him IMO.

Or for that matter that they would be ok with you telling people this, as much as YOU think it is ok, if what you are saying is true it just makes them look even more like shit.

                                        I didn't know it was standard that all big companies don't know how to pay their bills on time and make you wait months to get paid. I guess it is ok too right, because you will be paid sooner or later. I guess also the person being paid should get his landlord, creditors, bank, etc... to understand that he is late paying his bills because the big porn companies take 6 months to pay. I am sure his creditors wil be ok with that.

                                                I just love how so many like to generalize.

                                                I think the designer should of been paid and paid on time. I do not think people should have to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get paid for anything, and unreasonable to me is roughly a week after it was due assuming it was not collected up front.

                                                I do think the designer perhaps should of thought this out a tiny bit better, than to just post it all here in the open. No, not because he is not owed or anything like that. Just because we all do know how this board often works. David versus Goliath rarely ends out the same around here if you catch my drift and it is rare when it does.

                                                He may have been getting fed up. He may be needing the money and can not wait any longer. Just as a general tactic though I feel he performed the wrong maneuver. He could of had much better results/luck with say a GFY warning shot. We all have seen them used and in the end nobody losses face unless it goes to round two.

                                                I have never been one to run here with problems. I avoid drama like the fucking plaque. Once long ago I did the very same shit two times on here. Both times I got my ass handed to me, not because I was wrong but because who I accused was "stand up", "top notch", "bro's", whatever. Hell I never even got paid on one of them and just had to pretty much drop it.
                                                I know now I could probably rip apart someone less known then me today. I would be seen more as the person beyond attack compared to when I first tried my hand at the high school board rules. Problem is still there though and those stupid fucking rules will often cost you more than what you are owed.

It's good for the people reading to see how different companies around here handle their business and its typically good for the person who is making the post, because of instead of having to give up a % to a collection agency, GFY doesn't ask for a % when you get paid from making a post on here about someone oweing you money.

                                                                            The using a collection agency was a joke, i doubt anyone uses a collection agency to try to collect from adult companies who didn't pay them for work. I was joking/pointing out how it doesn't cost anything for the person to come out here and make a post, which in most cases gets the other party to pay up.

Then you make a post on GFY asking them to pay and they get mad and say they not going to pay you now... lol do you really think they were going to pay you in the first place lol. nope.

                                                                                                    This is bad man. Called out on GFY and STILL won't pay. As far as I'm concerned, if you get called out on GFY and still haven't paid the man, it's because you CAN'T pay the man.

                                                                                                    I know nothing of the program in question but if I were promoting them, this would alarm me. When a program is struggling, they stop paying vendors first because they already got the benefit of the vendor's work. Then you slow down your hosting payments, you cut back on new content, members stop rebilling, revenue starts drying up, then affiliates checks start being sent out late due to a glitch, then KABAMM, GONE!!!. I'm probably over-dramatizing here but just sayin.
