I think you mis-typed your topic. Rap is not music -- or at least the crap on mainstream radio and TV isn't.
20-something year old African American men rapping about the ghetto they "once" lived in and how many inches the rims on their caddies are is crap.
Now they have this stupid song where they actually sing some part -- SING?! These guys can't even speak correctly not to mention the chorus sounds like a mutated country western theme.
Good riddance to them.

im not going to get into the scematics of rap and rock and roll and the such because well...its a lost case..what one may consider music others may not. But on the note of underground rap yes it is lightyears ahead of the stuff they play on the crappy ass radio..Sig heil
