First of all, wp-o-matic has no built-in synonymizer so it can't morph anything. The second thing about wp-o-matic is much worse: someday wp-o-matic may crash the WP database and you'll lose your blog.

Yes, but until you will discover that sometimes FeedWordPress used to syndicate the sponsor feeds WITHOUT YOUR AFFILIATE CODE. Nice "feature", isn't it?

i tried feedwordpress the other day and it did exactly that, stripped my aff code out.

i used to use wp-o-matic but its shit and fucks up all the time and posts about a million duplicate posts.

Having problems with Feedwordpress with a lot of feeds ... only takes 1 post and stops.

But I am manually editing every post anyways to avoid duplicate content

I'm not sure that I understand your question. What do you mean on "hosted WP blog" (free blog posting like thumblogger or sponor hosted blog)? Also what do you mean on "post"? The feed pulling plugin (aggregation) doesn't post - it syndicates.
