"you are the future of this country" is just a ploy by your professor -- and see it has worked -- you still remember his line to this day because he was a smart fucker. He used a simple phrase to feel inadequate so that you would work harder so that you got better grades so that he would look better as a professor so he could make more money so that he could fuck his wife with a little more confidence. profs make more money from research. teaching is just a pain in the ass for most of them. some can't even teach for shit. then there's some can hardly speak english.

What colleges?

I went to U of Texas (kick ass Art dept, best in the states) , U of New Orleans, Art Institute of Houston, and had great American Professors who spoke good English and cared about students.

Then again, I went to College in the South.

Thats no shit. The university I attended, your odds of getting a Chinese guy teaching your stats, cs, math, or chemistry courses were 80%.

All of the 100 to 300 level science and math courses were taught by graduate students, who were mostly comprised of foreign exchange students.

I ran into alot of people like that.

I had a c++ instructor that would launch into weekly tirades about how studying anything outside the "hard sciences" was an utter waste of time. Art, history, religion, literature, etc etc were all worthless pursuits that did not contribute to humanity and would only leave you flat broke with no future. All the little poindexters in the class would get a good laugh and then we would move along. I hated that fucking guy.

He couldnt put together a coherent sentence if his life depended on it. Unless he could punch it into his TI, he couldnt understand it. I had to proofread everything he did, and it was one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen. Absolute math and physics genius, but an utter and complete retard outside that realm.

Most of my professors were that way. The classic mad professor type guys. Just come in all dirty, fucked up hair, no care about how they dress. Just an hour or so of fucking spazzing out in front of a bunch of students. All of my 100 to 300 level courses were taught by graduate students. What doctor who has been studying and writing on the same subject for 40 years, wants to come in and teach Intro to Anthro to a bunch of fratboys who need some elective credits?

gears esp think they are the gods of the world. The thing that always made me question that logic was that most gears work for a salary - ie they were paid by SOMEONE ELSE. I always wanted to be the writing the check.

my favorite crowd was the aggies - those farm boys REALLY knew how to party and somehow always managed to have a 2 to 1 girl to guy ratio at their parties. They had a real talent for throwing parties with faculities that were mostly women - nursing, home economics, etc. Gear parties had like 7 geeks to every babe and were totally lame in comparison.

My school had a HUGE ag department. They had a fucking rodeo team, their own fraternity (the FarmHouse), those farmboys were out of their damn minds. People like me were not welcome, and that was fine by me.

I never hung out with anyone in my field. Anthro is full of dirty hippies and whiny espresso drinking fruitcakes. I always got hammered with the geeks. I was always down for some drunken lan gaming in the cs labs at 4 am.

Actually I knew two. Both are now retired. One taught Algebra and the other taught English. I had both of them for two different semesters. I was amazed at their zeal and ability to bring freshness to their classroom. Both were excellent teachers, which I agree is not the norm.

Yeah, was a little easier than I had hoped. Two sentences already had the cry babies on that thread crying "anti-semitism" when someone makes anti-zionist comments.

I could have run with it and humiliated them, shoving their own arguments down their throats, but no need. It wasnt even a challenge, just typical kneejerker responses. Boooring.

And it all just seemed rather contrived on my part. Didnt even take any effort. The thread had me written all over it from the first post. Yet they still bit, simpletons.

I'll even go post some fliers to really get the cry babies going. Enjoy Serge, piss is good for bidness.
