Basically the large image is from a gallery.
When you click on it, it takes you to an area where it ignores all yoru gallery info and allows surfers to browse through all your large images on your gallery.
Kind of like a slide show of your large images without the surfer having to view your ads.

I noticed it, as one of my buddies is sending some of his 404 traffic my way.
I notice it is almost ignoring htaccess for one picture, but as you try and browse, the htaccess works

The script probably fetches the one picture using falsified referer information but when it tries to load the pics straight off your server on an HTML page, your htaccess catches it.Originally posted by macroguru

i ran the slideshow at a 2 second delay for a while and I'd say that 99% of the pics had no htaccess problems....
Is that bec. the script is good at faking refs or bec. people can't protect their big pics from being hotlinked since the gallery links directly to the image anyway?
