    nasty dollars is crooked??

    looking for info. i run some model sites but i also do a lot of affiliate shit. I ran across one of nasty dollars' sites - allamateurmovies - and liked it. I joined as a member and still liked it so i signed up to do affiliate work.

    we run an ezine with over a half a mil qualified (says me hehe) uniques and a top list with 35k uniques a day. they send a shitload of hits to the banners i run. i've run affiliate banners for sites all over the place and made great money.

    When i ran a nastydollars banner on my ezine, my banner system (which is audited) counted clicks like this:

    9-9-2003: 314
    9-10-2003: 323

    theirs counted like this:

    9-9-2003: 120
    9-10-2003: 135

    i've had accurate counting all over the web with everyone else's system. so i'm asking, what the fuck is up with these bastards at nasty dollars? do they fuck everybody equally?

      Well, if 3:1 is tour page to join page ratio, then they must be counting join page or second page clicks.

                      could their join page really be that unappealing?

                      the only site i've promoted that performed worse was jenna's. i pushed her site when she was doing the whole o'reilly business. got 500-600 clicks a day and 4 signups in a week.

                      i can send them. everything else is up to the guys running the program..

                                  Maybe you could ask them? They've always replied promptly to me (yay I'm special), and with that much traffic I'm sure you could work something out with them. The click throughs seem kinda low for the amount of uniques you have, no matter how they're counting them.

                                  As for me, conversions and hit counts have been consistant over the last few years.

                                      they claim to pay $35 per signup. maybe i'll send some more traffic this weekend.

                                      my surfers get tired of our stuff, so i look for good programs. ftvgirls converts like a mofo though! hot tip...

                                          They DO pay $35 per signup. I won't say they count every signup , but I've never had a problem with the bottom line.

                                                  I'm sure they credit every signup that their software tracks.

                                                  I have nothing bad to say about ND - I think its a primo proggy and they are one of the few places I've recommended friends sign up to. You get a lot of goodness for your dollar.

                                                  Just try getting in touch with them, tell them what you have to offer.

                                                              If FTV girls Converts for you, then you need to promote other sites along those lines. It is all about the type of traffic you have.

                                                                                          later it was 1:500 on second page
                                                                                          and someday it will be 1:500 on signup page

                                                                                                  You wanna get some funny numbers back try sending to a few more programs.. Im pretty happy with their count and their conversions are awesome for me..

                                                                                                  And if you send over 200 signups in a period they pay you $40.00

                                                                                                  nobody converts as well....and I would bet money on that!

                                                                                                  Your complaining about unique ratio? You get paid on clicks or signups?

                                                                                                      I have to say that in all my time, I have never had a program work as well as the Nasty Dollars one. I don't care about clicks, I don't care about conversions, I care about the numbers printed on the check! That's all that matters!

                                                                                                      Nasty Dollars is one of the few programs where I don't even check the stats. I know it works for me, and that there will be a lot of numbers on the checks I receive

                                                                                                      If you want to get involved with pay-per-signup programs, don't even look at the stats. Just look at what you are getting paid, as that's all that matters.

I've only had a few advertisers who I ever thought were counting accurately. BUT it's a fucking per singup proggie so it dont really fucking matter. Especially since you have what you feel are accurate numbers on your end. The thing with ND is the 12 hour shave. You know where if the join cancels within 12 hours you dont get the 35 beans. But alot of people do better with ND so they must have a decent members site. I use them. As of late I've been less happy but fuck who hasn't. Poor choice of thread titles dipwad.

                                                                                                                                  it matters because numbers matter. if you don't know that you're not making as much as you should be. there's a lot of programs out there. why waste time and traffic with one that shaves or has bad numbers?

Plus ND shaves a lot more than 50% of them.

On of my visitors pointed it out to me.

                                                                                                                                                  thats crooked as shit. all you fuckers saying they are great are crooked as shit too. if you're sending traffic to them you are misleading your visitors.

                                                                                                                                                  they won't get any more of my traffic. i'd like to stay in business...

                                                                                                                                                      What's misleading about giving a price break for buying in bulk? Offering a deal for buying 30 days up front instead of 3 isn't crooked jackass. I'm not a huge ND supporter but there's nothing wrong with that.

                                                                                                                                                          nothing wrong with a break if its stated clearly, and not in fine print at the bottom of the page "jackass". we give breaks but we don't mislead our customers.

                                                                                                                                                                      Nasty dollars was the first site I made decent money with, years ago I used to submit two galleries a day to sublime (guaranteed listing), on a free host with their banners and content and made sales everyday, then they only had one site (nastyfetish). It was my first real break through, but I think those days are gone with all sponsors
