I watched the debate, here are my thoughts...
Dean - By far not at his best, but he was the only candidate in the debate who did not try to make any jokes, he was serious about what he was talking about and kept the Bush-bashing to a minimum. All the other candidates were taking jabs at him the whole night, he was only given the opportunity to rebute against Lieberman, and did it so well that it left Lieberman babbling like a fool. (Lieberman btw, misquoted the article that he was trying to burn Dean on). Was not very charismatic during the debate, must've put the tie on too tightly.
Lieberman - Is this guy even in the Democratic party? Seems to be a Bush nuthugger to me. And how about that really low blow to Dean with the "Bush Recession, Dean Depression" line... everyone in the crowd I was in boo'd, so did the people at the debate. I pray that this bastard doesn't get the nomination.
Gephardt - I've never seen him so vigorous before, looks like he is taking a page from Howard Dean (I even heard him use some of the exact stuff Dean uses in his stump speeches). Not a bad showing though. Started to get annoyed by his overuse of "This president is a miserable failure". It was great the first time, but after the 3rd, it lost it's effect.
Kerry - As I call him "Lurch", the guy is boring. He was pretty standard in the debate. Don't see why he is a frontrunner at all.
Kucinich - Not afraid to be a liberal, went all out during the debate regarding NAFTA, etc. Really lost it big when he attacked Dean though; the attack was going okay til he ended it with a Valley Girl "HELLOO?!"; Everyone laughed at him, not with him.
Mosely-Braun - Intelligent woman, not her time though, not against Bush. I love her single payer health care plan.
Graham - Was he even in this debate? Had like 2 questions the whole night.
Edwards - Charismatic, but he never actually said anything in the debate, just squandered his time with personal stories.
