Ratios went to complete shit this month so far. Last month was decent, but they haven't paid yet. I think they usually pay by the 10th and that was a Saturday this month. This has been happening every month for a while now. They seem to be doing all that they can to delay payments but in the end they always have sent it out even if we don't actually receive it until the month is 2/3rds of the way over.

i asked last week if the payments were going to be late again and i was told that the late payment was a one time thing and that they would be sent on time this month ...

It's been happening with the later payments for about the last six months. Apparently for whatever reason the days of having the check mailed closer to the 3rd - 5th seem over. However, they have ALWAYS paid. Their affiliate FAQ currently states that they will send payment "within the first 10 business days of each month", by which measure they are not late until Friday. However, I'm pretty sure (cannot document) that it used to say "within the first 10 days of each month" and was silently changed at some point. (Last month, for me, is the first month they were "late" under the old wording, and they were not technically late under their current terms as written.)
In practice, until recently they usually paid during the first five days of the month, except in the month of January when they were always middle-of-the-month slow (presumably for accounting or holiday reasons). Here's the payment dates for me since the move to NATS two years ago:

As for ratios, at one point this month ratios had deteriorated to something in the neighborhood of 1/4500. They've since "improved" to 1:2757. Last month was roughtly 1:2400, and historically, I was used to conversions at about a 1:1200 ratio with my traffic.
I've always enjoyed doing business with Kink.com, they have a great crew and a history of honest dealing with talent, staff, and affiliates. But as much business as I do with them, I necessarily find myself unsettled by the combination of declining ratios and slower payment.Offering sponsored blog posts and custom writing services.Comment

don't like the whole unannounced payment change thing i dont mind being paid whenever like if they came to me and said hey we are starting to delay payments a month i wouldnt mind, after all they have good content and great rebills but i get worried when its like 'we're paying you soon' then soon becomes later...then now a change in their FAQ...no news in the news section...its the internetz and you always gotta be on guard!
