But that also doesn't mean that you shouldn't follow the rules and put a sales thread in the appropriate section, Buy & Sell.
Putting it in the main board is why there is drama going on in the thread, If you would have put it in Buy & Sell, then they would have stayed out of it... If someone is in the market, they would be skimming the Buy & Sell section... Being here only gets unwanted eyes and replies.

The domain will not sell in the mainstream as they dont make enough money to warrant such a purchase regarding cams and 2,000 + eyeballs from the adult industry in any shape or form when your selling something aimed at them cant be bad

The one time I post in this forum about decent domains I have for sale they got moved right away. So I posted one of my tube domains for sale in Evan's thread and I get attacked by Rescue-a-bro Jystyles for thread jacking Evan's thread.
there are no rules here. And it really doesn't matter if you have spent money with GFY or not as I have spent over 10K here. It's all about who you are or who you blow/know.
in Rick's case his domains are the best of the best and he usually only posts here once every couple months or longer so thats probably why they let it slide.

This thread is um... insane. Allow me to inject an idea.
A domain name, regardless of what it is, has value to the person or company who likes it and can turn it into a brand name. Period !
"CamGirls.com" obviously has value to you, the current owner because you see its possibilities. You see a brand in there somewhere. The value of your domain, is in this idea and this idea alone. You imagine a mega cam site, populated with stunning sexy models and tens of thousands of eager customers shelling out top dollars to chat with them, all under the big giant C A M G I R L S . C O M signage.
This is a great dream. You clearly see this. Shit, *I* see it. It's a good name!.
What you need to do now is to concentrate on building this dream up. Partner with someone, or hire programmers and designers. Start building your dream, and stop quoting numbers. It is pointless to talk about how much traffic it COULD get or currently gets from Type-in traffic. It's useless to talk about potential sales at this point. These numbers are nothing compared to what it can do when properly branded, built, and in operation.
A good domain name need not be a description of what it offers. Do the names GOOGLE and YAHOO make you think "Search"? Today they do, but without branding and the products they have become, they mean nothing.
CamGirls Guy: What you need to do is to find a partner to help you to develop the domain into the brand you dream it can be. Don't quote numbers now: They are completely meaningless. You can only begin to guess at the numbers when you know your actual costs, your actual sale points, your advertising budget, where your customers will come from, and EXACTLY how you will convert them. Until then, it's all just a big fog.

I think the intent here was to offer it to "someone who would like it", There is inherent value in this domain name to anyone looking to build out this type of site. If Rick had the time or inclination to build the site he would have done so, as he has with many other names in the past.
