CL does this with the intention of it never seeing its day in court. They want the defendants to settle. They did this with Mesiab Labs (Easy Ad Poster). Cheaper to settle than fight it. Eddie's sight says he is a UK company so I doubt he has much to worry about. Breaking a sites TOS, in itself, is not a crime.

No way CL will ever win this one and i doubt that is why they are doing this.
It looks more like they are trying to discurage other individuals from spamming.....scaring off the smaller players.

Easy Ads Poster closed down instead of try and fight Craigslist. At the very least scumbag Eddie will have to do the same. But he is not in the uk, he and his company are physically located in vancouver canada. I have been working with Craigslist to shut his scamming ass down and they have his actual physical address, not the bullshit maildrop he used. He also quantified how much he was making on this forum, which Craigslist has that info. I have inside info on this one and cragslist won't settle for nothing, they want Eddie's ass and will get it.

Craigslist won't win the bullshit argument that violating their tos is a crime but they will win this case against Eddie, trust me I have a little inside info on what else they are going to do. Some of the dating sites that eddie promoted on craigspimp might also be in some deep shit. There are fraud issues here and don't think that angle isn't being pursued.

All you fake ass wannabe lawyers can speculate all you want but this lawsuit is the real deal. Eddie's broke ass can't afford the legal fees to begin with, but he thinks he is safe because Eddie Temple is a fake name and he thinks no one knows where he is. Well his affiliate manager Bill is in Lancaster Ohio and he is about to get fucked in this suit himself. Couldn't happen to a couple of bigger scumbags.

I agree, I always wondered why he was able to be so openly blatant about it and get away with it for so long. Even building an affiliate program using their name, then stiffing the majority of your affiliates by not paying them.

She would research bars and coffee shops in each area and street information, and she did a lot of data entry work. She didn't know it but it was intended to make the fake responses seem more realistic with real info from that city. She was 8 months pregnant and very broke, and Eddie stiffed her for a few thousand dollars of work. I promised her i would make his sorry ass pay. Yep, didn't fully pay Zuzana for a design and stiffed most of the people from this forum who tried his affiliate program.
