About a year and a half ago I hurt my shoulder (dumb injury, I caused a small tear in it lifting a case of bottled water from car) I didn't need surgery and had physical therapy to heal it. It has been fine since. then the other day while helping a friend move I re-injured it. Went to the doctor today. Luckily no new tearing, just a good sprain so now I'm sitting here in pain. Luckily he gave me some sweet pain killers, but trying to work when it hurts to type sucks.
re-injuring an old wound sucks

I know what you mean. I'm 38 and a few months ago did some heavy drinking and I felt terrible for about 48 hours afterwards. It seems like just the other day I could do that and feel fine the next dayComment

i hear you. i broke some ribs last year biking, healed up (took 8 weeks). forward to this year: made the entire downhill biking season without a single bail, then with a week left before the switch over to snowboarding, i crash hardcore, re-broke all of my ribs on the left side of my ribcage, left hand is fucked, sprained wrist, knees have no skin on them, sprained right ankle. i'm 36... it takes sooo much freaking longer to heal than it did in my 20's. and now i can't do shit, hence why i've been on gfy so much lately lol.we'll miss you our friend.
