Its just a difference of philosophy. If any democrat got in it would be : slash the military fbi cia, create a bunch of inefficient socialistic programs, create a bunch of 6 dollar an hour jobs, take a total hands off approach to foreign policy.

The miltary has been slashed to the bone as it is...more than a million men over the past few years...and it is proving to have been a mistake. Actually it first began with Bush Sr. and continued through the Clinton years.
