GFY is how I got the nick name "Rochard". I had been going by the name of "Zak3" before then. Tanker (who had worked at ICS when they created GFY) told us about the board, and Lightspeed told me to sign up before the end of the day. I wanted to move away from the "Zak3" name and was forced to come up with something... So I changed the "i" in Richard to an "o" and called it "Rochard" pronounced "rockhard".
I first found GFY in my referrers cause folks on here kept hotlinking my content and asking who could make good magazine quality goth content. Apparently, finally joined in January of 2003.

Here I am two decades later.
And here I have always pronounced it roach-ard in my head lol.
I was in the adult industry longer but didn't get around to posting on gfy until much later - actually I first started posting on Ynot when they had a message board and spent my time there.
I originally joined in 2002. My nick was -v- and I was just looking around. I found this place on a webmasters section on a major tgp from that era.
Then in 2003 I got a message that the board was upgrading how usernames are handled and I'd have to change mine. Wtf? So I was using this one in other forums and switched.
Now if you look up my old one you get redirected to *v*. Who joined in 2007 and did nothing. So I guess the change they made was that certain special characters would be changed to asterisks. And that meant that perhaps @v@, #v#, etc would all end up *v*?
Something the forum admin at the time took to their grave perhaps.
But, in 2003 I became an active adult webmaster. And made my first sale. $35 PPS with RKNet Media for MILFHunter.

Yes, I was active on Netpond, Ynot and Oprano before I migrated over here a bit late in 01. Not sure why it took me so long, as once here, it was the place I spend 95% of my board time at.
