Pics Of My New Baby -- Mohave Bob Cat Named Einstein!

I picked him up Saturday afternoon. I had to drive 8 hours to the breeders to get him, but he was sooo worth it. I'm so in love with him. He's so tiny and cute, all I do is hug and kiss him all day. His name is Einstein Bobby-cat or "Bob" for short I will post more pics when I have some time.

He will get to be 25-30Ibs. He's also polydactyl so he has a thumb. That's why his paws look so big.

haha.. exactly why I have 4 of the 6 babies from the one litter. I wanted the momma kitty. I also wanted a bigfoot male. Part of the purchase agreement to get Maura was that she have one litter with the breeder's pick of male and give her a breeder quality kitten back from the litter (if there was one). Well....5 of the six were breeder quality. She'd told me that for a first litter there might be 2 or 3 kittens. When I called her two days before Xmas in 1998 and told her there were 6, she told me to expect to lose one or two. Didn't happen. Then she had someone in New York that wanted to buy Rusty for $1500 and Rusty was one that I was definitely keeping from the very day they were born. Stubs could have gone for $2000+, but the morning he was laying on my pillow on his back and pawing the air at me (waving) my heart melted. He turned out to weigh 23 lbs.

This guys are more like dogs than cats. Three of them will play fetch with me at my desk for as long as I'll toss a toy to them.

Good that they get along then! I decided to get another kitten as company for my ~14 month old cat, but as soon as I brought her home the hissing started. She's turned into a grump and 10+ years later she still growls if the younger one goes anywhere near her. That sure backfired

after my last kitty passed away at 10 years of age I will probably never get another. I somehow became super allergic to them as I got older and not having one for years now I am probably worse. They are so cute though, they steal your heart and takeover your home.

That's so cool, the pawing of air is sooo cute. Einstein already likes to fetch. I throw this bread tie out and he brings it back every time. He waits for me to throw it. He also likes the laser light too, and will jump for it and then expect a treat haha. What kills me is as I'm working he will paw at my toes and look me all sweet. I pick him up and he sits on my desk and watches me work for hours on end. He seems to be super smart so far. Having a new kitten is soooo great. I will have to add more pics to this thread as he grows.

Is that a normal cat or a bob cat? Bob cat's can not be domesticated. They will kill other cats and animals around them.

haha.. and it's not fun when they get to be over 20 lbs and want to lay with their chin on your mouse hand. Or when two or three of them decide they want on the desk at once.. even though my desk is 6' x 3'.
