I make enough to make sure they eat .. and smile more than the average kid...
my goal in this work is to ultimately insure that my little ones have what they need and some of what they want..

I applaude the effort you two are making. It really sucks when feel you have to give your "family" history. Its appears that no matter what you write/do, some of these people are not going to "like" you. There is a underlying current that is very easy to see. (that is unfortunate)

Have you thought about putting a night light and a potty chair in her room? I know it sounds weird, but when my 3 year old got up at night and had to pee he was too scared to go to the bathroom by himself so he would wet his pants. I put a potty chair in his room and he uses it. Just explain to her what it's for and maybe set up a reward system for every night she doesn't poop all over her room.

About the night light though, I wouldn't use it for too long. Two recent studies suggest a strong link between ambient light while children sleep and myopia (near sightedness).

Some good ole Dr. D's (one piece sleepers) and a locking safty pin under the zipper where she cant get to it and lock it up at night....its really a phase with little girls because if they have a rather messy diaper it goes places where it really stings after a few minutes...thats why she takes them off, that and the elastic cant be very comfey.
try that locking safty pin....i think that will cure your problems.
