                                              We connected again, like a month or two ago, after couple of years, since I'm working with my team on some new projects, so we will resume our cooperation and work together again.

I never said I met Joe, I said I know him long time and have worked on projects related to him in past. Never said I had a drink with him, sat at the same table, or hang out. It was business related, outsourced to me and the rest of the team, while working in previous companies.

I was one of the main characters in the project and he remembered about that specific one, but since we didn't meet nor have conversation, so he may say that he doesn't know me, which is fine. But I know him and Joe politely asked for a bump, which I did, since I have nothing but respect towards Joe. I learned a lot about the content business while working on that project, according to Joe's specification and guidance, since man knows the content business and is an industry veteran. All conversation regarding that project, between Joe and my previous company was done by C-Level person.

                                                                                                          So, if Joe doesn't know me, that's totally fine, since project we did, didn't go through me, it was outsourced to me and several other team members at the time. Other person negotiated and communicate with Joe. But I knew who he was when we took over the project, but didn't have direct contact with him. I already explained how communication flow went for that particular project. Again, I was supposed to meet him in person in Germany, but due to some change of plans, I didn't go and missed the opportunity. So, call it however you want, indirect cooperation, or how the fuck ever you wish.

                                                                                                          Until yesterday, when he asked me how I heard about him and how I know him, I explained and we got on the same page regarding that, since he remembered. He just wasn't aware that I was the part of that specific project. To me, it's like I've done business with him and I'm proud I was a part and one of the main characters in that project, for Amacontent.
