closest I came was living roughly 75 yards from the water in Pismo Beach...

you guys get better weather down in SD though...was a bit too cold up in SLO...
however, loved looking and listening the water every day & night...
hard to stay inside in the office and get shit done, but was great for sitting in the front yard and talking on the phone...
I was born and raised in the SF Valley, but always was a fan of skipping school and going to Santa Monica...one day I will make it back to the beach, just not sure which one yet...
