Is Quiet really Low-Key?

You know, I started to think to myself that Quiet keeps saying he's low-key, and maybe a year ago that would be true but with the explosion of GFY within the adult webmaster community and the interest that his posts and threads provoke I wonder if he can truly say he's low key anymore? I'm willing to bet he's one of the main topics of conversation at dozens of conversations regarding GFY, movies sites, and profits in general since he started posted on GFY at the next internext and people will be on the lookout to spot him.

Most of us have an idea of (some) of the sites he runs.

He has posted his Ibill stats many times.

There is now a cult following around him on GFY.

I don't call that low-key.................

Don't hate me for this quiet - but me thinks you now a celebrity.

I don't think the number of Quiet's posts matters any to him preferring to stay low-key. He can post as much as he wants etc, all he asks is to keep his site low-key. Can you blame him?

You use 'SleazyDream' as your nick, obviously you use your site so people know who you, Quiet is the opposite.

He doesnt brag about his site much at all or ever draws attention to his site. His posts don't have much to do with it.

I agree totally with Sleazy. quiet's a good guy from what I've seen, but no one who posts their ibill stats on the biggest webmaster board on the planet is trying to be low key.

Well SleazyDream, quite frankly I think he's a celebrity in his own right but not by choice. Basically, for the webmasters who aren't raking in 6 figures a month, he's an inspiration. He's not the flashy millionaire. Heck he's 29 - nets 200k a month and from my understanding he's done this through hard work, perseverance, determination - I'd much rather look up to him than the owners of big affiliate programs. He's doesn't have 20000 affiliates promoting his site or sites, only his employees (from my understanding).

Being successful and telling your story in bits and pieces and posting proof that you're not a hot air balloon of fantastic stories is not exactly asking for celebrity status, but perhaps earning well deserved respect from your peers.

I'm saying he's not a hot air balloon boasting about shit he can't back up with proof. He's low key if not everybody knows his sites, his name or if he's really in adult or mainstream.

If you don't know him personally or you don't know someone who does know him personally, you can't get in touch with him.

In my personal opinion, he is lowkey. No matter how much he makes, he choses to remain as anonymous as possible - he's not looking for extra publicity for his sites - he quotes proverbs and inspirational thoughts in his sig. He doesn't seem to be full of himself and he comes off as a sincere person.

This is just the impression I get from him, I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees him this way.

Actually, SleazyDream, I never doubted that you could get in touch with him if you wanted to. That's your advantage over the rest of us - you've been around longer, have established your credibility and have very well-rounded network of friends and acquaintances.
