I've never understood why these companies are needed to setup companies.
In my state, setting up a LLC requires faxing a one page form with your credit card number to the department of assessments and taxation.
Is it a lengthier process in other states are is the appeal that you are certain it's being done correctly?

In Minnesota it's a 1 page form plus payment. A DBA requires publication in a newspaper, but it's also a one page form plus payment
