well, I don't blame him... His idea is to make money too, so, I guess that's natural flow of events Make a movie, promote it and earn money, simple as that...
You see, Zeitgeist has a bit different approach... They seem to not be making a whole a lot of money and once their movie is released it's posted on their website...

Perhaps so, however that is the right of being an American. If the people fall hook line and sinker for everything he makes then it really is not his fault now is it?

idiot
He is truly a wretched excuse for a RICH person.
This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!

Agreed. He is just a very successful con artist. His rise from nothing to fame and fortune is an inspirational story about the greatness of America. That being said, he is an amoral scumbag and hypocrite of epic proportions.
He could have left out some of the fluff, focused more on the blatant corporate corruption, and backed off a bit on the underlying pro-socialism stand.
Overall it was okay, but his movies just aren't angry enough for me. I felt the same way about Fahrenheit 911. He needed to go for the jugular, and not let up!
Zoom in on the problems, stick to the facts 100%, name names, and give them hell!
I guess I was hoping for a more radical message, a movie that motivates the viewer to DO SOMETHING!
His stuff is a mix of poignant facts, diluted with a half-assed attempt at comedy, and mixed with questionable fluff - so that in the end you just don't know how to feel about it all.
Just stick to the facts and HIT HARD! The facts alone, properly presented, would be much more compelling than the bizarre mix of shit he always seems to create.
He DID show Ronald Reagan for the asshole sellout he was however, so I do have to give him kudos for that!
Actually I found it to be a very interesting movie. Of course - and as always with his movies - you have to set aside the comments that are meant to push his political view; but the actual points he covered are very valid. Some excellent insight into how "the rich" think about the rest of us, and what they will do to keep us down but thinking we can get up!

Well put.
If capitalism is so terrible, why does Michael Moore live in the US? I am sure they would welcome him with open arms in Venezuela or Cuba.

so, you're saying that if you love your country and want to see it improve since it might not being doing as well as you'd like..you should just leave? So you should never try to make a change for what you perceive to be the better?
Capitalism: an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.
Socialism: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
Communism: a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.
Free Market: an economic system in which prices and wages are determined by unrestricted competition between businesses, without government regulation or fear of monopolies.
If you do not believe our government is totally controlled by big corps, then you are a fool! Capitalism sounds great, but the vast majority of the citizens do not reap the benefits of the current system of capitalism we "think" we have right now.
The middle class is shrinking at an amazing rate, and the disparage between rich and poor is growing every day. A better, perhaps hybrid, version of capitalism is needed ASAP.
Big corps are on the verge of a full win soon, if we don't work to change direction...
BTW, the word "capitalism" does not appear in the Constitution of the United States, and if you were to read the document today, it sounds a whole lot more like socialism, than our currently perverted version of big corp capitalism.
The Dems can't pass anything, because they have been bought by the corps, hook, line and sinker. They just pretend they are not corp puppets - the Republicans don't even bother to pretend.

How does he do that?
you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..
it was very disappointing. He makes the poor look pathetic & hopeless. nevers discusses their own culpability for getting foreclosed on. never discusses his hero obama is just as big a whore to wall street as his republican punching bags. Obamas own party is voting down the public option, but only republicans get moores wrath. Joke.

Hey man, what's up with your phone? It rings once, and then just craps out.
Watched it, its got some good stuff if you can filter out the obvious bias and political leanings. Unfortunately most will either take it all in or reject it all.

I never understand how people can think that about Michael Moore. Have you ever seen any of his movies or heard him interviewed on tv, or is it just the caricature of him and second hand opinion you are going on? He's not anti-capitalist nor anti-American as far as I can tell, and I don't understand how anyone can think he is. His movies, in order, said a few things that turned out to be right, going back to Roger & Me twenty years ago, when he talked about how G.M. was making some bad business moves. In light of recent events, was he wrong?
Was there any valid point in Fahrenheit 9-11, when he said the war in Iraq was based on nonsense and was messed up? Was there a good observation in Sicko when he talked about how the American health care system has some serious problems? And in light of recent events in the economy, is there any thing to be gleaned from Capitalism: A Love Story, when he talks about the really bad moves that have been and are now being made in our country's economic policy? I don't follow his every move, but I certainly think that his movies are very thought provoking and entertaining, and people from both sides of the spectrum, whether conservative or liberal should appreciate that.

He never said it's wrong to get rich, or wrong to go from nothing to being rich by being in business. I'm not sure how hating the US government makes him a hypocrite for getting rich.

Is that what you do? Run away from the things you dislike rather than try to change them?
