    Do banner ads reduce signups?

    What's your opinion, do you think that a quality clean gallery with 21 images and 1 rotational banner ad at the top is going to reduce signups?
    Hot & wet, just what i'm looking for...

          If you're going to rotate banners of the various "facebooks of sex" at that spot, it'll surely reduce signups. But if you're going to rotate different banners of a site you took content for your gallery from, it's not going to hurt sales, you'll just find the one that works best in the end of the day.

                  my opinion has nothing to do with nature of business.

                  As guy said above, if you are silly and put a banner for something other than what you are selling it could, but if it matches the site you promoting it will HELp signups.

                  What I do matters not.

                              You do some really nice work. But you already know that

                              As for the OP: Banner ads won't reduce sign-ups, but putting 21 of anything in a single gallery might.

                                          If anything, it drives sign ups, for me anyways. I typically use gallery pictures to promote the main pay site, and banner to promote another pay site of mine.

                                          Taking more than one bite at the apple so to speak.
