        Fuck the movie industry.

        I bought hundreds of tapes and now everything is moving towards DVD's.
        You watch 10 years after tapes are phased out and everyone has DVD's, I bet the mini disk comes out or some bullshit.

        Its the same with the music Industry, they end up selling the same product to the same person over and over again as formats change.
        I no longer feel guilty downloading mp3's or ripped movies.

          i think that DVD's will be around for a long time.... they are a very stable and cheap media to produce with.... and its qulity is great so if you can afford a bomb ass tv then maybe you could watch something better than a DVD on it but right now i dont think that you would ever be able to tell much better than DVD resolution

            Digital VHS offers twice the resolution of dvd, but I doubt it will ever take off.
