I'd just buy the database. I've tried to deal with their service and occasionally network conditions will screw with a query being returned. If everything is local you will never have to sweat it.

If you really need their non-free version, then just buy it - their API servers are slow as shit imo

It's only $12 for the geo-ip country database, right? Might as well buy it, and not worry about their API or servers.

its 20.00 for a ton of inquiries, see if you use them up in a month, if so then perhaps purchase
