Okay, I have an advertising budget of $300 (perhaps willing to go a couple hundred higher) to spend for a single month. My goal (obviously) is to make sales for my paysites. So: how do I spend it? Buying ads? Where? Buying traffic? Been there, done that, mostly sucks don't wanna do it again. So NON-traffic buying ideas please?
I saw Elephants is charging $79 for a month's submissions. How does that work? Pay them $79 and I get to submit to their TGP? What if I don't make any sales? LOL
Any sites I should buy banners on? Ad spaces? Hard links? In short, where can I get the best bang for my buck(s)?

hmm quality and price, depends on what you are selling really traffic to me never has a quality level it depends on how you sell, for instance if i was buying higher "skim" traffic i would be more agressive with a shorter fold join option and a faster thru put on forms, than i would for say google referrer ;) for a specific site that i have always liked buying from worldsex.com is great never lets me down. Budget 300
-mix up your purchases
-buy 150 worth of submit accounts and 150 worth of direct ads
- submit accounts buy elephant and worldsex for one month (have your galleries ready in advance and your hosting worked out before starting also be prepared to submit for two months with 0 return) (also on galleries less design is better FHG are a terrible example of how to get sales out of gallery traffic just an fyi)
-buy direct spots at tops of tgps if possible medium to small is ok if you get a top spot banner that is all branding, and is niche matching yours.
- For the elephants question you may not make sales your first month you need to learn about two things gallery click thru rates, and then paysite click thru rates they are two different goals. One the gallery's goal is to get traffic to the tour, its the tours job to sell, so if you can lower your price and streamline your join process on your own traffic cut the membership price to half or whatever you would make on your own ;)

Okay, so I understand about gallery traffic rates and conversion rates (believe me, I know the conversion rates for all my sites cold). But I didn't understand what you meant about 'lowering the price' and 'streamlining the Join process'.
1. The price is set as one price gets you into the entire network. Plus, I have to split with models, partners, affiliates, then there's hosting fees, video feeds fees, on and on. The pie is only so big and therefore I cannot cut my membership price.
2. The Join process IS fairly simple as it is: click 'Join' or 'Instant Access' and get taken directly to the CCBill signup form. Can't get much more streamlined then that, can it?
Also: If it takes two months to get any sales then the first two months are what, a waste? Or do these TGPs have a 'cumulative' affect? I mean, why 2 months and not right away? If the tour does it's job then sales should come sooner, no?My Affiliate Programs:

due to the economy and the shift in our industry re: traffic, etc, i recently back-burnered a micro-niched site project i started working on a few months ago and have invested ~$2k in. it needs about another $8k to launch. should i continue to hold-off until traffic and such get sorted out or should i go for it now and take the risk with the $8k?

1. the price you set for your sites is up to you, you can change the price based on the fact that their is no affiliate etc to split with so you can reduce the join price to increase the joins. (IE you set up a tour only for your own traffic)
2. this page (http://www.themisterpeabody.com/ccbill/index.htm) can be done 100% better you can completely change it and make it a much better more standard experience) also you need to have a join option higher on your tour so the minute it loads someone can click join.
Also: it may not take two months to get sales but will take that amount of time to build up traffic to your site. And yes it does have a cumulative effect. (you should get sales right off the bat however most tgps dont approve every gallery so you would have some back and forth.)I could give two shits wether you read this sig or not.Comment

well, i have budgeted abuot 20% more than i actually hope to spend for launch, it is all exclusive content shot myself. ~20 scenes, site design and advertising/marketing = 8-10k$
i figure i need 20 scenes for a decent launch, i hire the talent for a full day and get 3 scenes, so 7 days of shoots
so each girl will have 3 scenes available.

I like a mix for actual usage videosz.com (i like what they did with thirdmovies.com the feel to that site is really nice.) is really friendly but i think they and brazzers have the same problem trying to give too many options to the surfer on one page, not letting the member navigate and "flow thru the site" I would prefer a simpler main page with a lot of search relevance and time spent on that.I could give two shits wether you read this sig or not.Comment
