need a new ring light, seeking advice

k, so I used to have a ring light. went kaput a few years ago and never bothered to get a new one cuz mail delivery, even to the Post Office, is a huge hassle outside the city

anyway, my earthstrong is coming up and my main dude wants to buy me something. he drives to the city a lot for work so it'll be easy for him to pick it up there

I'd like an afternoon at our local beach, and a ring light. I had recently told him about the cam stuff and he was fine with it. surprised, but fine. he finds it interesting and funny. and probs just relieved I'm not a secret tiktokker

and gets why I want a new ring light

focus light I'm using is way too fucking hot in this weather. 5 mins in I'm sweating like a beast cuz it's right in my fucking face. I really really hate el Nino, we're all just trying to endure lol

so seeking recs on a new ring light!

it needs to:

a) not exude too much heat

b) be a long term product. I will protect it from crazy cat. I won't move it around a lot. from room to room from time to time but overall will be stationary. no fucking sm clips on the street

c) adjustable lighting re temperature (not heat, but cast as in warm, cool, etc)

d) is under $200 USD including shipping MAX but preferably less. saw a Razer on Amazon that was $110 incl shipping (lol $45 cost, $65 shipping)

I thiiiink the last one I had was a Razer? it was years ago. worked fine, just died when my crazy kitten was chasing a lizard on the ceiling and sent it flying across the room

what do y'all rec now? no one in my town uses one. I did ask a couple cammer friends and they rec'd Lume

only prob is on Amazon, with the lowest cost item, between cost and shipping Lume would be like 50k JMD ($300ish USD). that's a lot for someone living in goat/garrison land

I could buy this myself, and may end up doing so if nothing is in what I deem a fair price range for him. Razer would be, but is it still good?

he can gift me a local artist painting or something which would I'd love too. but he wants to buy me a ring light after hearing me bitch about the heat of my lights in el Nino and I want to make sure it will fit my needs and his small town JMD budget

so is Razer still an ok choice? or is there any other brand that fulfills the req's above and wouldn't make me an evil person for sending him a link?

I never used my old Razer (I do think that was what it was) on my current laptop. do they work well with HP? it worked with my old Asus. I can look that up myself though

so yeah, long winded as is my wont. would love some recs for something quality and affordable

gracias in advance for any advice provided
