    GFGFY - what the fuck?

    Did everyone leave because of the skin? Seems to be quite a few people over there? Not giving the URL but people that were loyal here sure turned into fags.

    WOW. I happened to notice the post before it was deleted. How long until that place gets shut down by Playboy? Such blatant infringement it's not funny.

What I did see with my own eyes is GFY openly supporting tubes and tube site ( illegal tubes ) which directly and negatively impact my business. Im against ? theft no matter how small as i make my living from Photography..

Again you may say I am splitting hairs but I did pay to view these already and was deprived of my right to do so.

                                                                                                                                              When the people on that board actually unite and take real action against content piracy, instead of simply paying lip service to the issue, then I might sign up.

                                                                                                                                              I attended one of the first anti-piracy (content theft) conferences a few years ago, convened by a1r3k. DWB and I were among the most outspoken on the issue. I still respect both of them as righteous dudes with good ideas and principles.

                                                                                                                                              I was disappointed when the big players in the industry stood idle on the sidelines. I was even more disappointed when they did little to nothing to initiate action on behalf of the industry, and was somewhat shocked when many of them were co-opted and even developed their own tube sites based upon stolen content.

                                                                                                                                              Nothing shocks me much anymore.

                                                                                                                                              I see big programs betting the farm that short term market share/traffic is more important than actual profits (ask Adult Friend Finder how their IPO is going, and you'll see the disaster in store for most of those programs betting their money on that), and no existing coherent industry strategy for turning the tide against content thieves.

                                                                                                                                              If the big players in the industry can't see that their current course is imploding upon them (and by extension, us all), then they are truly oblivious to what is going on.

                                                                                                                                              As an independent, I have always been more of a small ball player...

                                                                                                                                              All I can advise during these bleak times is to stay the course, stick to your core business and principles, get those base hits, and score runs (sells), according to your own strategy.

                                                                                                                                              The time is past due for the big hitters to step up to the plate. If they take down even a few of the thieves, I believe the tide could still be turned to the advantage of honest programs and the adult industry as a whole.

                                                                                                                                              They can either continue to do nothing and slowly bleed to death, or be co-opted, and ultimately discover that the business model underlying the loss-leader style of most current piracy sites is unsustainable, or they can spearhead a concerted drive by the companies that play by the rules, and are unafraid of competition on a level playing field, and help bring the industry back from the precipice.

                                                                                                                                              I hope that they will make the correct decision...

"EVERY" broker of traffic of any kind in our Industry, the people that put on trade shows, our industry magazines, many resources... I could keep going...

                                                                                                                                                                          Or the absolute 100% fact that Brazzers pre-pays 100's (it's a lot) of people, for traffic/sales for everything they own. And out of that, the majority of top traffic guys sell to them, most brokers broker for them, and a crazy f'in amount of affiliate programs sell mobile traffic to them.

                                                                                                                                                                          I won't even get into content dvd selling / brokering of that business and who these people are selling to.

                                                                                                                                                                                              What you are seeing today is what happened to mainstream porn (dvd) companies back in the 90's, they got stuck in the 80's way of doing things. They refused to move forward or follow technology and now the majority are gone.

                                                                                                                                                                                              This is happening today... a massive amount of people are stuck in the 1990's way of doing things. We are seeing history repeat itself right in front us, again. This being stuck, makes it so they can't see what's happening right in front of them.
