Think about that. Our enemies are ALREADY HERE, registered on GFY. Skinning the board even. So what if "guests" can not see it?

If you ask me, this area should be locked down for ONLY people who are known, trusted and are solid.

That is EXACTLY what this should be. We have needed a section for a long time for ONLY people that Eric and Ice know are in this business. And new people could always icq either of them and introduce themselves personally. Their real name, what they own, and what they do in this business.

Then they could be let in here.

No fake nicks. No name calling. No kindergarten idiocy for "views"

But REAL business conducted. I can always go to the Fucking Around section when I feel like being crucified by people with less experience and expertise on a given subject.

I'd like to be able to have a place to present ideas and view ideas from other REAL industry people without surfers or "witty" fake nicks or gideongallery coming in and destroying the entire thing.

That's how it should be. Then whenever one of us is in the mood to be funny and witty or just in a bad mood and wants to argue....we can do it in the surfer sections. Does that make sense?

I retract my call for one forum of proven people. God knows it would just kill us to be able to actually do business with no bullshit in one section.

You guys win. I guess I'm going to reluctantly open an account at MP My fucking ICQ has been burning up all week with people wanting me to register there. But I really only have time for one forum and I wanted it to be the first one I took time for.

I remember Lensman asking Al and I to join GFY when they first opened the door. But I didn't have time for a message board so I didn't register until August of '02

And then I didn't post or even come here for years and years. Didn't start posting full force until I opened CM's site in 2007. I was shocked at the difference in quality of posters and how many surfers there seemed to be from when I had first joined.

But even so, I've made a few coins from people I met here on GFY. Kinda sucks that it's not the same tight knit group of webmasters that it was in the beginning. But that's what happens when something gets popular and you get a lot of surfers and/or folks who like to troll for fun.

You guys need to stop assuming shit about users here before you should worry about forming a forum that is only exclusive to industry people.

Do you honestly think there are 100's if not 1000's of surfers here? What do they gain from being here? The 2 or 3 threads a week that Dean or Mutt posted about their latest shoots or new girls? Come on, GFY doesn't even show up in any of the results that normal surfers would look for...

Everyone at this board is part of the industry in one way or another, just because they didn't register in 01, or 02 like you guys, don't show their sites, or tell you every aspect of their business, does not mean they are surfers.

When you guys can act like true adults maybe, this industry will be able to form a forum that will brew up some good combat for the theft in the industry, but until that happens, good fucking luck.

I couldn't agree with you more on this entire tube subject, no point to share ideas how to protect on a public forum where just as easy those that steal the content read these same threads...

I agree with Robbie in as much as this should be locked to only folk known in the industry. Not the thieving scum though. I would like to see this area as a place we can pull ideas and resources together to get rid of the content thieves. We will be far more effective as a group.

I also strongly support the lock down of this forum.
