There are probably only 2 "mega-stars" that any non-industry people can name and/or identify....

Ok, for me a "mega star" will have name recognition outside of their realm.
They will be referenced in mainstream media.
Significant numbers of people who never saw the star perform; will still know the
star by name or face.
Webmasters will feel a need to promote this star because "every other site has her".
For example, I never cared to put up a Paris Hilton banner but felt compelled to because
