Cams by definition are as often the ratio of people going from free to pay is probably better than porn sites as often with porn, people are just after free stuff these days.
But cams also have long term. With tips people will spend for years.
With porn these days many join for a month, then have got into a habit of canceling the rebill option almost instantly.
Years ago people would join, but too lazy to cancel, and would rebill for months. You may get that today, but fewer will.
Dating used to be great but these days people use phone apps, and the online dating sites do not do well as people have been put off by the fake profiles and the data leaks.
Where cams may suffer is that models use cam sites as a promotional tool for such as onlyfans, so you may end up giving free promotion indirectly to onlyfans sites.
Also the problem with cam sites is everyone promotes the same 3 or 4 main cam sites. And fail to understand why they are not getting great conversions, as they do not understand that even though they may be sending thousands to a cam site, that those thousands have already become members if they wanted to because other sites have promoted the sites to them before.Comment
