Drinking or smoking at work
Anyone remember back in the day when this board was popular... at trade shows, how many people smoked? I can remember all of the old buddies I knew in adult back in the day, and like everyone(but me) smoked!
One thing about porn / development work that I like is that I can be working on things and can a stiff drink, or smoke at my desk, if I wanted to. I suppose when you're dealing with pulsating buttholes, cum-leaking vaginas, and giant thrusting dongs, it helps to take the edge off.
I drink right meow because I'm nervous about the project I've almost finished, it is so unique and something nobody has ever seen before in how media is displayed and viewed! Still have to polish it a bit before I show it off.
Fun fact, last real job I worked at a construction company in British Columbia, the lady that worked as the HR person was drunk every single day at work, was also the best HR person I'd ever met. She would walk up to young men on the street and tell them they have a job and give them an address to show up at, and like 90% of the guys would show up. One of the reasons the company was so successful is that we could source people at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, her drinking got out of control and we had to fire her. She kept calling the CEO of the company a "demon" and "liquid shit personified" and other words right in front of people we had just hired, all while reeking of perfume to cover up the smell of booze. She was like the Mr Lahey of HR people.
Ahhh in the time it took to write this post, the calming sensation only a mouthful of whiskey can provide has washed over me.
