Who's the $ Richest $ Webmaster of all?

There's a lot of big players and heavy hitters out there nowadays. And a lot of quiet webmasters you don't find on the boards much, nor at the shows, who are making millions playing low key and staying behind the scenes building up site empires.

So who does everyone think is the #1 Richest "Bill Gates" of our industry currently? I can think of about 5 candidates for the top spot, but its hard to say who is truly the wealthiest porn diddy of all.

No offense to quiet, but unless every month he has about 50 of those stats pages he has posted, he isn't in the same league as Marc De, Ron Levi, and a couple others. He probably has the most members with no affiliates, but it's pretty fucking hard to compete with 20,000 affiliates.

You gotta count assets like domains , exclusive content, goodwill, affiliates and type-in + search traffic as well. If you are talking a bout weatlh and not just month net revenue.

We have a big development project we're working on and some innovative ideas we are going to try and yep a couple of the people in our group which numbers about 20 now would be considered whales and have been in the biz since day one.
But I'm more of the low key type myself. The thing with ARS is that they don't own or run any of the sites that they promote. The sites are owned by Global Intermedia, so ARS doesn't get to keep all the money that their affiliates bring to them. I'm not saying ARS doesn't make a crapload of cash, but their profit margins are probably very thin. ARS would definitely be in the top 5 (if not #1) for gross revenues, but their net profit might not be #1.
