I really like that last one. Although I'd really like to see some new ideas. Something like Hulu.com would really catch my eye. You don't need to do every page, just the main page, a sub page and a video/gallery view.Comment

Thanks for the awesome entries guys! They look great. As Eric said, don't be afraid to do something completely outside of the norm, LM can run ANY design with ANY combination of tube/tgp/blog features. Please also make the header something that can easily be changed (logo wise) for the many people who will be using the design.

Some nice designs, but I think a lot of people misunderstood what it's really about. I see some complex headers and graphic heavy designs that not a lot of LM clients would want to use as they'd be a bitch to customize.Comment

Yeah that is why I wanted to touch on that subject. Assuming someone really likes the design I highly doubt they would mind paying the designer a minimal fee to re-do the header. Or maybe we could have the winner edit it with a more editable header.
We were hoping to have a number of entries that would include all three features, with a little under two weeks in the contest only time will tell. The winning designs will be included with all LM purchases free of charge. I am sure the designers would not mind adding a feature or to at minimal cost. Design Contest Details:
+ We will be picking 5 WINNERS (assuming there are 10+ entries).
+ 1st place will receive $600, 2nd-5th will receive $150 plus all of the additional benefits listed below. $1,200 in CASH prizes + benefits!
+ Create a design for a Tube, a TGP, or both combined into one!
+ There are no design specs, thus allowing you to be as creative as possible. Liquid Media can work with ANY design (This script could run hulu.com and break.com) and is not limited to a structure of any kind, you choose the size of the thumbnails, whether it is tube style (only videos) or tgp style (photo galleries) or any combination of the two. The possibilities are endless!
+ Since this will automatically be included with the script and used by a lot of our clients please make the header logo rather simple to allow them to edit to match their site. We will also list your contact information for any clients that would like the design modified.
+ If you decide to do a tube style theme please also include a video player version/page in the design. If you decide to do a tube/tgp/blog design please also include a design page for each aspect (or simply merge them all into 1).
+ If your design is chosen as one of the 5 winners, you will not need to do integration, only provide us with the 2-3 html pages.
Design Contest Benefits:

+ You will be able to post a screen cap of your design in this thread along with a link to your portfolio showcasing your work to potential clients.
