Here since 2012 (with different accounts as brands changed). Many very inspirational topics and ideas on how to taggle certain problems (finding models, black hat seo). In 2012 or 2011 do not remeber, I came across GYI on the Amsterdam webmaster access, and from there i learned a lot about affiliate marketing in this field i am still very active and work as affiliate manager (freelance for igaming, adult and finance). I learned so much here! i really do and i am very greatfull
I do have a red T-Shirt from GFY which i use for the gym and for sure you get some attention

I know how you feel. I got an icq number in 1993 and it was six or seven digits long and I still had it when I started in this business but I created a new number because I didn't want to combine the personal with the work. In the end my dumbass locked myself out of both because I didn't keep my recovery email up to date. If I signed up again today, it would probably be about 15 digits long. I see you're on Vancouver Island... I lived in Ladysmith for a year while managing a local pallet yard... what a fucking disaster! Was fun as hell of a job though...
Last time I went downtown Vancouver for a bike ride of the seawall and dinner... holy fuck downtown was so filthy and so much busier and just all around much shittier than before COVID. It makes all the beautiful people stand out so much more from all the squalor and street shitting!

Do you remember when people could send you viruses and stuff through ICQ?
As a teenager my buddy and I sent this girl one through her ICQ, we met her at night skate and both of us thought she was hot. She was bit of a prankster herself and we decided to play a prank on her, so I forget how, but we infected her ICQ and then had uploaded a .wav file of the terminator saying "fuck you asshole" from the movie to her pc... but we wanted to do it at the perfect time.
Anyways, on like a Friday night at 11 PM we set it up for her computer to play "fuck you asshole" like 100 times through the speakers, and her parents were foreign from Iran and had never seen the terminator and they heard someone saying "fuck you asshole" from their computer room and evacuated their house in terror and called the cops saying there was a psychopath in their computer room screaming at them... then the cops went into the house and found nothing, but her ICQ was open...
So then the cops went through her entire ICQ list trying to find us, and my buddy's ICQ number was on her list and she told the cops who my buddy was, but my buddy didn't actually have a computer, he used his brother's and his brother was away training with the Canadian Armed Forces, so the police were stumped but it was a big scandal at the time and I think it even made the local news like 25-30 years ago because her whole family evacuated their house... it was just a prank bro!!!

I'm still on Vancouver Island, just north of Nanaimo.
Ladysmith, eh? The "woodworking" yards were total hellholes. Chemainus included.
I spent 5 years in Vancouver back in the early eighties. The city went downhill after Expo '86.
What's not love about the seawall? I spent my first summer fishing at Siwash Rock. After living landlocked in Ontario, the idea of taking public transit to go fishing, was a hoot.
And packing dogfish on the back of a bike rack, cycling past the ladies in fur coats on Georgia Street only added to the surrealism.
I did my time in East End, when you could still walk to downtown without worrying about getting tussled.
Now everyone is packing onto Vancouver Island. Next stop for me is Gorge Harbour on Cortes Island.
