    2 Days In Virus Hell

    No not swine flu! First nasty computer virus in years. What a pain in the butt... Still trying to get everything straight but not quite there yet,,,

      Get
      Super Anti Spyware
      Malware Bytes Anti Malware
      Avast
      Avg
      Ad Aware
      Spybot S&D

      Update them all
      And scan the fucking fuck out of everything
      Then uninstall everything but spybot SD and avast
      Disable avast VRDB and merge the icons
      Stop unneeded avast providers

      Done

          What do these people that write these things gain with them.. I can almost understand the ones that turn the pc into a salve for mailing or what ever, but the ones that just cripple the pc. that makes no sense.

              most are connected to "anti virus" progs that prolly does get people signing up all day. the last one I had kept spamming a virus blocker software after viewing sites, it would pop popups for the software trying to sell it. virii for the most part is usualy just malware crap nowadays trying to get you to buy something

                                      AntiVir seems like the strongest I've ever seen..

                                              When ever i get some sht like that(once in 3 years or so), i reinstall!

                                              Just reinstall, best thing to do!

                                                  malware bytes.. then combo fix.. then run symantec antivirus corporate edition. Still can't get rid of it..you better hope it's not a boot sector virus.. then you really gotta back up your stuff and do low level formatting.
