Yep, i am quite sure google+ was destroyed because they were insisting on having one for all account .

It is always worth having accounts on all social media.

But threads does not allow porn, and the problem you may face is not only your threads account is closed but the Instagram your account is connected to.

by the way I think the app is only on the iphone at the moment but I may be wrong.

It is likely to get millions on it simply because most people with an Instagram account will join.

but will it be the big thing in a years time, I suspect not, simply as you not only will not post porn, but I suspect anyone with any view will be banned for the simple reason the aim of the app is presumably to get advertisers, and they will want the app woke and bland.

It will probably be an app for mainstream news and businesses. Just posting bland stuff.

One reason it is worth joining is to get a few more followers on your Instagram page.

In reality it is a clone of twitter, and we have seen many clones and they do not kill twitter.

Just on a side note, the reason I suspect Musk purchased twitter is that it is reported that he plans on having his own mobile, and having twitter the backbone of his mobile is worth it, as it can be the main message service and he does not need to worry about not having the app. While he could make it that the iphone does not have an official twitter app and if he did, many I suspect would not bother with an iphone.

If he does start a mobile phone business, twitter would be a bargain to have purchased.

but my advice would be by all means get an account, but be very very very very carful what you post as if your account is banned, then so may your linked Instagram account.

It may be worth setting up a burner Instagram account and use that to connect to. One that your not bothered about loosing.

They made it too complex and unpleasant to use.

I tried it a few times, and hated using it.

I am going to suspect even non nude sexy pics may get you banned.

They will want it super woke to attract advertisers.

I presume you have to close your instergram account to close your threads account.

I think you can remove the threads app (I could be wrong) with out loosing your Instagram account.

At have had no problems switching thread accounts on the app.

My understanding is all your insta followers become automatic followers on this app.

So if you have 21k followers on insta, then you will on this app.

This in turn should create more followers as people add as many people as they can in the hope they too will get more followers.

So we have lots of people adding others, but is this the same as real followers?

no they dont, i started at 0 followers, the folllowers wil show up in their list but they have to have to manually add you.
