the investigation begun after a company named "cybertrend" from cali which owns dozens of sites on servers in Las Vegas, complained about and Israeli crook which demanded "protection money" from dozens of porn sites , the company which operates a legit biz which allows ppl to view pics/videos in exchange for a CC payment , and has 10,000's of visitors/day
lately those websites started to "fall" of the web for long hours because of "computer tricks" made by "john doe" the guy emailed the owners and started to blackmail them for "protection money" in exchange for keeping the sites online , he gave the owners a name and a bank account in bank hapoalim in Beer Sheva , and they paid him thousands of $ in exchange for stopping. the guy didn't keep his word and went on with his tricks, asking for more money.
also the company owners found out that during a hacking he stole their CC database, the owners refused to pay again and complained at the FBI computer department and hired a computer expert lawyer "Boaz Guttmann" former head of the computer crime department in the Israeli police.
Guttmann complained at the police and gave the investigators , name, bank account , phone numbers and "calls texts" made from those numbers
