Depends how much you earn per sales (which product) ... I have spent the past 5 years in the "traffic" trenches... have seen way higher CTRs then 0.7 (I remember some 3-4% ads) and some guys converting under 1:500 ... of course they were not with the higher CTR ads... but overall and everything, it's possible... to answer to all asking why we sell ads spots instead of putting our own reflinks... it's too much work to monetize such high volumes of traffic, the best and most profitable solution is to enable everybody to bid and monetize the best he can and the best marketer will end up with the most amount of traffic and competition will emerge...etc

You guys at Pornhub / Tube8 / KeezMovies need to realize that there is some serious hate towards you and quite rightly so.

You have more or less singlehandedly and selfishly fucked up a jillion people's businesses.

But that aside.

You have an opportunity to somewhat repair your horrible reputation in this business.

Yes, you have given away the farm, and yes, you have a ton of traffic coming to your sites as a result.

Now how about you actually work with sponsors- starting *now* as in today.

You need to start allowing sponsors to submit their own clips, and then *properly link back to the sponsor on the page with their content*

simple as that. Self-serve traffic? That's what we want. Traffic-Junky? You can keep it.

We shouldn't have to buy shit and take all the risk, when your business was built on stealing content from producers.

is just pure BS to try and rationalize your traffic-selling venture. I mean that is a total fuckin lie.

Sure, have some for-sale ads on the site. But you need to work WITH this industry, not simply ass rape it and expect all smiles and us writing checks TO you.

There is absolutely NO REASON why you can't start a simple system where we can sign up as content-submitting webmasters, post clips from 3min to XX and have our links and banners next to it on the page.

It actually boggles my mind why you don't do this already- listen up PORNHUB, KEEZ and TUBE8 :
YOU ARE LEAVING MONEY AND LONGEVITY ON THE TABLE by not doing this.. not to mention just destroying the industry, which will eventually effect you, when there are no more content producers to rip off- no more dvds to rip and post, etc.

as a webmaster, I could upload a trailer, and have my link on the top. Now, persoanlly, I don't think that lame little link is enough. It needs to be backed up with a text descrip about the sponsor site below the clip and a banner- look at oneclicktube.com or tjoob.com for guidance. There are other (very big) tube sites doing this- whats wrong with YOU?

Now any joins that are made- you get the affiliate cut.

So you get paid. We get paid.

..and the industry is not dying a horrible death.

You need to slow down with the full length stolen shit- and start going in this direction. That's the only way this is going to work for everyone.
