I watched One Day At a Time and also saw the Momma's and Poppa's in concert with Mackenzie - if the relationship started at 19 just before she got married (that fucks up too), it's sad how drugs can fuck up your perception of reality of what's right and wrong replacing it with "what feels right now"
Fame and celebrity isn't always the glamor life we all expect or hope it will be - wouldn't trade my life for any of theirs
Just looked it up, it ran from 1975 - 1984. Sorry, but I was born in 1976, and was only 8 when the show was cancelled LOL
Again I repeat, ive never watched it, and never heard of it till this thread.
By the way I was born in 1968, I've still seen Gilligan's Island, Brady Bunch and other shows that were cancelled before I was even born or were cancelled when I was small.
how come I make some drive by post about not knowing some washed up actress from a show cancelled in the 80s and its so hard to believe? LOL
I grew up in a household that didnt watch TV all day, i spent my youth outside not glued to the tube watching stupid shows
At age 8 you couldnt keep me inside long enough to do my homework let alone sit in front of TV watching some old lady show i was outside on my dirt bike getting covered in mud, fuck TV
One Day at a Time was another of the woman power shows of the era. Divorced mom, two daughters, struggling to pay the rent. Not sure what ground it broke, possibly talking about birth control and drug use. And the mom, played by Bonnie Franklin, said "damn it!" all the time as parodied on family guy.
