WTF are you guys thinking @ gfy / playboy stockhlders

Is gfy still owned by playboy or what ? doesn't playboy have stockholders ? If i was a stockholder i would be pretty pissed .

playboy stock since gfy started advertising sites that ripoff their product
2.75 -0.18 -6.14% (today)

playboy stock circa 2006

no as the stats i posted show they have dropped $13 a share since 2006. what they dropped today has nothing to do with it. well other than it's not helping it go the other way.

Stock holders in most companies have no idea the decisions being made on a day to day basis they look at the long term or quarterly affects of those decisions. This skin as bad as it may be looks good on paper if your not involved in the industry it affects.

lots of wealthy program owners and webmasters investing in the market, i am sure they considered playboy a possibility, but i am guessing no longer..

you obviously missed the point.

I think you and pipecrew were under the assumption i was trying to show the skin had something to do with playboys falling stock prices "today", as if playboy stockholder were reading gfy. While i'm sure there are 1 or 2 stockholders on gfy , that was not the point.

I will try and make it a bit more clear 4 u ..

GFY has an effect on the industry.. agreed ?
playboy owns gfy agreed ?
gfy is advertising sites that are GIVING AWAY playboy products , making playboy stockholders NOTHING ...
gfy being a playboy entity is kind of "green-lighting" the idea that showing videos you dont own is "OK" , when many in the industry have been saying "hey wait a second, this is a vast departure from what we have been doing and whats been making us money"

This isn't the first time gfy has been "in bed" with "questionable sites" ( see original post showing gfy's 2006 stock price ) .

Let me remind you i stumbled upon this strange theory several years ago on gfy when i first proposed it /made a thread about it and when playboy stock was worth FIVE TIMES what it is now.

to put it in easy terms , if you had a million stocks of playboy and saw my thread several years ago that warned if gfy advertises sites that profit from the theft of its product, it would hurt playboy they would be worth well over 10 million dollars, now they are worth just over 2 million..

or if you had a porsche worth of stock its now worth a neon
