Agreed, if you notice most of the time the video cuts before you can see where the que ball goes.
And every shot they have lined up is basically straight in, there is zero that's really impressive about this.

Absolutely correct, IMO.
For one thing, it is not likely programmed to appreciate things like (a) spin transfers from the cue ball to the object ball (yielding the opposite 'English' on the object ball than you put on the cue ball) (b) spin affects the path of balls or (c) the force with which you hit the ball affects the angle of return from the rail.
To paraphrase Robert Byrne, since compressed glass balls bouncing off felt-covered rubber rails are not like light rays bouncing off a mirror, generations of pool players have been misinformed that with respect to bank shots, all they need to do is divide the angle.
Still.... it's a pretty damn cool robot, either way.
