    Business Do You Use WhatsApp?

    In Kenya, 97% of the population use it.

    In UK where I am based, you'll be hard pressed to find someone that does'nt.

      Whatsapp is basically a requirement for Android people in the US. Been using it for 11 years or so.

      I know a lot of Iphone users where I am their only Whatsapp contact

          I have 3 clients that insist on WhatsApp so I have to. Other than that - generally I use Skype mostly - and have telegram and slack as backups in case people ask.

                      It's really regional. In Poland everyone is on Whatsapp and Signal, not many use Telegram.

                                  These days you dont exchange telephone numbers anymore but either facebook contacts or what's app numbers.

                                                  About half an hour later, one of the members got an email from Booking dot com offering him hotel rooms there.

                                                  So yes the Zuck is scraping data.

                                                  But I take a pragmatic view. WhatsApp is free and it's ad free and it's useful.
