    Net Neutrality to (likely) Become Reality

    Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Julius Genachowski didn't mention Net Neutrality when he went before a House subcommittee on Thursday (Sept. 17). The subject will be front and center on Monday (Sept. 21) when Genachowski is expected to give a speech announcing the Commission will vote in October to start a Net Neutrality rulemaking.
    This is a good thing for our industry...

          without net neutrality, ISPs can change internet xs into a kind of cable tv clone, where you get access to a limited nr of sites ("channels") instead of access to the entire internet...

              Wikipedia sums it up.

              In short, we already pay for our bandwidth ... I don't think we should have to pay a toll to an ISP so that our site loads quick enough to keep the surfers attention.

                              If the iphone is still blocking googlevoice then they are already testing the waters against net neutrality. Not sure if the Iphone has finally agreed to allow its use or not yet as I refuse to get one of their phones.
