As my tube traffic is increasing, I have now moved up to 160K in US traffic. At what point should I start pulling AFF and GetItOn Ads and sell that space instead of hoping a lonely surfer joins a dating site? Thanks in advance for advice.

You are doing ok in canada but not good at ALL in the USA....and no you dont have anywhere near 160k uniques a day.....maaaybe 2-5000 at most

I know Im not getting 160K uniques, but I have moved up to 167K in ranking for US traffic according to Alexa. Still for a site thats only been going for a couple weeks I am making progress. That will only improve with time. Appreciate you helping to explain in a kind manner.Comment

those blog links are just feeders to the tube and I am not relying much on those right now. Im getting better hits from justin.tv bots. I have about 14 other domains to put other shit on but I am waiting until I find a better way to monetize them (either through blogs of tpgs). I understand your anger and frustration towards me because you know someone that looks like me would never give you the fucking time of day. Its ok. just accept it and move on.

If its only been active for a few weeks you are doing very well!
But as someone mentioned you need to be below 70k or so at least to get anykind of serious money in.....and as im sure you know it gets harder and harder the lower you rank gets.
But it can be done

That's what I was asking. I am happy to be where I am at this point considered I started this entire thing with very little knowledge and I am able to make this progress using only legal content. Im sure if I used illegal content my rank would shoot up but I consider myself to have ethics and I want to do this the right way.Comment

Definitely not looking for a premium because I no where near warrant it at this time. But it just seems stupid to host these dating ads when most surfers on tubes arent going to buy a membership when they are there to rub one out. What is a reasonable number to expect if I were to replace the dating ads?

I did not look over all your traffic numbers, so I am going to just drop a few ideas and you can take it from there.
You would swap out your dating ads for one of the adult ad networks and give those a try. Typically they are going to take 50% of any revenue if on a JuicyAds type of format. Or you could try black label or one of the others getting paid on a CPC like AdSense.
I personally have tried those and did not care for them. I prefer to sell directly at $100.00 a month, and do it all myself. Keep in mind however, I am a nichey traffic network. You are not going to have volume, you are going to have conversion (as you can clearly see from sites I sell, and how many sales they are getting on such small traffic).
However, doing it that way can be a headache as you track down people to advertise, and become a task at times. So you wanna think over the two carefully. Also if you traffic is low for a tube, you can always looking to start out $10 a month, and sell 10 spots. Track the progress, and as your traffic grows, start charging more. $10/25/50/100.... etc..
If you can show that your traffic can convert for people, regardless of volume, then people WILL BUY. So keep your eye on the ball. Good luck.

clicks and hits are two different things, if you are showing hits via your server logs, thats not a "unique" its a hit, loading a css file, loading an img file is a hit. if you had 10,000 images on your index page that would count as 10,000 hits from 1 personSince 1999: 69 Adult Industry awards for Best Hosting Company and professional excellence.

Yeah I saw that section of my weblogs that reflects things like that. But I have another section that breaks down unique visitors and the number of page views for that user as well. I believe the tube script I am using also distinguishes uniques as well but Ill have to check on that.Comment

Also dont reset the views. Surfers will look at the vids with tons of views.
Post some traffic stats for the banners here. Lets find out how much traffic you are sending to those banners. If you are sending a decent amount then people will buy.
